Form – Space – Attitude – Emotion
For more than twenty years, I have worked at the intersection of pattern construction, material and form – in couture and in the development of premium apparel. As a pattern maker, I have learned to read designs precisely, understand their creative intent and translate them into wearable, technically refined and commercially viable garments.
My work covers the entire technical development process: from pattern cutting and sample development to the refinement of fit and proportion, through to production readiness. Craftsmanship, technical precision and aesthetic judgement come together at every stage.
What interests me is the interplay between design, construction and execution – and the question of how a creative idea becomes a product with a distinct attitude and emotional impact.
I work with brands and companies that already have a design concept or a distinct creative language and are looking for a partner who can refine it technically, develop it further and translate it reliably into production.
Every product carries an identity of its own. My role is to bring that identity into focus through form, material and proportion.
For me, however, the process does not end once the product has been made. A strong product is defined by more than its cut, material or workmanship. It creates a sense of natural ease: you wear it, feel completely at home in it and are drawn to it, often without being able to explain immediately why.
»Every product has an identity of its own.
My role is not to invent it,
but to reveal it
and make it tangible.”
From Construction to Communication
The quality of a product should also be tangible in the way it is presented.
Photography, film and artificial intelligence therefore extend my work in pattern construction and product development. They allow the distinctive character of a product to be translated into a visual language – with a precise eye for atmosphere, expression and the details that make the difference.
In this way, I accompany products from the initial design through technical development to their visual presence. The result is imagery and film for brands, products and personalities that go beyond purely aesthetic staging and reveal the substance of the design.
